Due to strict biosecurity protocols, farm visits are restricted.
We raise our animals with their betterment in mind, therefore we do not breed any animals who don't meet our particular needs. Where our French Duclair ducks are concerned, we look for hefty bodies and early maturation. We have been able to raise a duck flock who offers eggs at around 4 months old, but can be harvested at 7-10 weeks as broilers, or a little older as roasters. Our Crested Cream Legbars are breed both for showing and for egg color qualities, so we run multiple flocks from production and exhibition lines, then we further cross those characteristics. Now most of the offspring Meet the British Standard AND lay lovely blue eggs. Our Sebrights, silkies, and showgirls are being raised with only the Standard of Perfection in mind, and we work on total flock improvement yearly. The silkies are our primary show breed, taking blues at every event, and occasionally landing the grand champion status they deserve. For our American Bresse, we have the goal of not only raising big birds with the marbled meat they're known for, but also for their offering of jumbo daily eggs.
